It was all going so well, put it together turn it on.

installed win 7 and all the drivers

First thing i did was see my Windows Experience Index, i clicked rate my computer

it got to testing the gpu and it started to make a squeal or whine Noise. I moved

on and tryed a 1080p mkv it worked well with no noise.

i left it like that for a few days not trying to push it, then i got tempted to play

some games.

The card at idle was 23c

brothers in arms hells highway never went over 59c

STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl

In the brother in arms menu it would make the noise, playing the game it was ok but in

STALKER menus the noise was louder. it was ok in game, the temps were ok and i had the side panels off.

It all went wrong when i left the STALKER menu up it Crashed

I changed the drivers and i can get past this error but i get a black screen.

my way to get back in to windows is to go into safemode, device manager and

disable graphics card.

What should i do?

move the card into other pcie slot or is it already dead

i have till 5.30pm to ring them. one more thing i did a clean install and still

get the error after installing the nvidia drivers.

move the card to a diff slot and see if u still get it, and clear the cmos and run everything at stock if u still get it maybe the cards done in and need to rma

have you overclocked the card more than the clocks it came with?

Mine makes a small squealing noise but I think its to me thrashing the crap out of it.

Are you sure its not your cpu overclock? or a driver issue? BSOD nvlddmkm.sys looks like an nvidia file to me.

sure i have seen issues with that exact file before :/

I moved the card, win 7 picked it up installed the drivers restarted and got the same error.

I dont what to lose my overclock,

I have not changed the overclock on the card.

well im out from helping mate, only way u can rule the oc on the cpu being a problem

i overclocked my 1055t to a stable 3.6ghz well thats what i thought. was perfect whilst doing everything BUT gaming! i put the cpu to stock and the games loaded up and ran without issue.

Overclocks can be re applied, but if your not willing then whats the point?

exactly why im not bothering if he isnt willing to put in the work to sort out the problems then y should i bother 2 help

go into the bios and write down every setting, jobs done or phone them up and tell them the problems ur having and it might be overclock related

I got a new graphics card from them, installed it all worked fine

The other day I turned the computer on and got a message saying no operating system found, I opened it up to look at the cables

Sata port 1 dvd drive

Sata port 3 harddrive

I switch them around and got back into windows but had no dvd drive so I moved it again to get it working.

Ultra DMA CRC Error Count 47

Another problem is at boot I got a message about the time/date cmos being wrong, I’m back to default settings.

If I turn off at the power supply then turn on the computer, I get the same time/date cmos being wrong.

Computer Freezes but mouse still moves, so I restarted and got message A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart

then I turned off changed sata cable put into different port and is working again

Ultra DMA CRC Error Count 222

the hard drive is getting slower

CrystalDiskMark

135mb

125mb

117mb

With change of battery it is saving settings again.

Well you already changed cables and ports, so thats not the problem. If you get the error again, I would assume theres a problem with the HDD controller, and would probably RMA the drive.

My 768s squeal like turds when folding but they're nice and cool and perform like monsters. I have them clocked well too.. no stability issues really.
