-Test one card at the time
-max out the voltages in afterburner
-overclock untill maximum is reached (try to find a good spot in clockspeeds beteween memory and core)
-Put both cards in you're system and clock the best overclocking card down to match the other card
voila best overclock possible with you're cards running in SLI.
I've heared from more people that 900 core wasn't possible on there gtx 460's, so don't worry about it
