Assassin's Creed Odyssey - 20 minutes of 4K "Maxed Out" PC gameplay released

Damn, agreed. Your work has some serious horse power under the hoods ^_^

To be fair he is a game developer last he mentioned (or software developer if you prefer) so him having that power isn't impressive.. but him playing on it is the cool part. He probably does it during compile time:D

Ha it's only during lunch hours :)
I need a 1080ti to power my 4K HDR screens :D

This game is getting some pretty impressive reviews Today.

2 things that bother me about the game though

First being doesn't matter which character you choose. Everything is the same. Every dialogue option is the same. You're interaction with NPCs is the same(as in dialogue and what's said). Only difference is your a man or woman. It's a cheap way to do it. You mine as well not even have bothered to allow the option to play one character. More effort should have gone into it. The game got a whole extra year of development. I felt more went into the RPG development.

Which leads me to the other thing. It's becoming more RPG like. Not bad per say but just doesn't feel like AC to me. I thought Origins had a good middle ground but they want to go farther. Because they saw how Witcher 3 was successful. I don't doubt it'll be a good game but I'll miss playing like the old way.
