Asrock Quality & Performance

Was looking around the net and found a Asus Rampage looking board by Asrock. Its called the Fatality. Are these motherboards any good? Does Asrock make good motherboards? And do they perform on par with Asus Gigabyte or MSI?

Their older 775 boards were a little hit and miss but since 1155 came out they have been solid performers, the reviews i can remember seeing recently have really shown a massive improvement over all since the 775 days.

I personally dont like the fatal1ty branding on any products as the guy was a bit of a douche at times from what i saw.

From what I've been hearing the quality is good, and performance-wise they're about on-par with the other manufacturers. There's not much between mobo's in that department anyway. Still, I don't like the Fatal1ty branding one bit

Well laddies, i went into the asrock website and what caught my eye was a workstation motherboard for $179.99USD from my retailers. For an X79 motherboard thats cheap (yes it only has 4 DIMM slots) but thats nice to see. Its black and gold so it looks the peice too.
