whats the diff between:

Arctic Silver Ceramique Compound

and

Arctic Silver V Compound?

and what would u use em for respectively?

(i know that u wud use arctic silver 5 compound for the CPU/heatsink thermal paste, but whats the ceramique used for?)

The ceramique is another CPU / heatsink compound used for other scenarios. AS5 is the best and most commonly used compound for air and watercooling. Ceramique is most commonly used for subzero cooling applications.

I've also heard that Ceramique works best on GPU's and Chipsets.
 
just to re-iterate what frag said, ceramique is used to sub zero cooling due to silver freezing below zero, however the ceramique alloy does not freeze until much lower temps
