Well since I'm putting together everything for my new build, thought I better ask some of your pros on your opinions of the above CPU coolers and any other suggestions......

I've read up a lot on both and know they are both extremely good at what they do, but the question is, which one!?

I shall be using it to cool a standard Q6600 on a Asus Maximus Formula

Noctua all day long..

On a quad if your planning on overclocking at all then the Noctua would be the way to go. Don't get me wrong the ACF7 is a great cooler and I actually have one sitting here I only stopped using about a month ago but if you don't mind paying the extra money the NH-U12P is superior.
