Applied for a new job

I don't know why I did not post this here, but I applied for a job at the local computer store The reaction to my email has been very positive so far, I will be getting word of either a rejection or a job interview in the coming week.

This job will include selling the computers in the store and/or building the rigs in the technical department. As it is a small store I am likely to be doing both.

When I get the job I will of course be posting about interesting projects going on there As far as I have seen they are at a fair price point (10% above dutch e-tailers), and there should be some nice rigs under construction.

Het is SCH Sliedrechtse computer handel, ik geloof dat er ook een dordrechtse variant van is, DCH gok ik.

English:

It's the SCH Computer store of Sliedrecht, I believe there was also a variant of it in Dordrecht, DCH I guess.

And it won't all be custom rigs Most of them will be pretty standard builds in probably pretty cheap (read: painful) cases ^^

I'm hoping to recieve word from them tomorrow or the day after

Just applied for new job myself, hopefully I get an interview lol. It's running a company near by with a few other geekzorz,should be fun.The salary isn't that bad either.

Part time 20 hours a week, around £18 per hour.

Oof, nice! I haven't even asked about salary, I don't really mind either. I'm currently being paid as a 19 year old despite being 17 (4,45 instead of 3,35 per hour), so if I worked only for the money I'd be staying.

But my current job quite sucks and computers are my hobby, so why not combine those two

Btw, 18GPB an hour Wish I could get that.

Just don't be like my local Computer Division, I heard from the rumour mill an old lady wanted a PC for general web-age and the guy tried to pass off something stupid in it like an 8800GTS ... because that clearly makes sence
