There is no hurdle, it's already been decided long before the whole thing hit the news, I 100% expect the CMA to back pedal quick and the deal will be done and dusted almost instantly afterwards.

After the FTC lost the CMA won't be an issue, they will just sign any agreement they are in talks with Microsoft tight now and that will be it. And even if they did block it, I'd guess Microsoft would seu FU Britain and move on either way, they'd pay a fine and they would be blocked from selling Boxes and Xbox games on the UK for a while and then some judge would revert the decision or whatever.

They can block all digital sales too. It would be a disaster for Xbox. Considering Playstation still dominates (about 70%) I believe. Microsoft cannot lose more market share.
