Monitor

Remember all ur cables... :P

mouse keyboard etc etc

multiplay lans dont allow speakers, so take a headset

Lots of snacks, needs to be high energy. Such as redbull and chocolate.

sleeping bag/pillow

Money (just in case u have got to buy spare parts)

Hope that helps (probberly forgot a few anyway)

Yea i might be although going to the next one would give me more time!

I'll give you my list of essentials:

  • PC (locking doors with an alarm preferably)
  • Monitor (with a spare incase of breakage)
  • Mouse + KB (should be some on sale in case of a breakage)
  • Windows and driver disks!!!!! Don't go this far then have to format!
  • I use storage boxes to carry my stuff around - quite handy
  • a p00ner mousemat - tables can get really uncomfortable
  • If you can a box of spare cables and stuff for repairs whilst there
  • Food - pot noodle + kettle, oat bars, party rings and pringles xD
  • I would bring your own water as i'm not quite sure where 1000s of nerds will all get theres at the same time
  • Do not leave your pc unless you really have to - make sure its passworded! Extremely well, perhaps get a 3rd party tool too (unhackable)
  • Headset
  • All ya cables
  • Webcam to show off to friends back home! (im guessing u get web access there?)
  • All your game disks (or isos)
  • If you have watercooling, be careful when transporting!
  • Dont drop your rig lawl :p
  • errrrrrm...have fun and go to bed early...pffft

I advise u dont hack :) Or use cheats of anysort... The gaming community there will not like it, and u will get banned other other events.

As Mr apoc says... Party rings.... Youve got to take them. I use them as currency :)

Also... passwording your computer its essential You will get spotty greasy ginger teenagers trying to put websites such as 'goatse' on your computer the second you leave your chair. ( I know, its happened to me many times)

If a nerd touched my PC at LAN I would rip their fingers off so fast they wouldn't even feel it.

In fact I might make stickers for lan goers that say 'I pitty da foo who touches ma rig!'

No file sharing either, you will get black holed. They're really strict on file sharers.

KustomPC will be there, selling Headphones and Keyboard and Rodents. So, if you break something, they're there.

Only 1 monitor per person. You can have a Dell 30", but not 2 x 15" Monitors. Weird I know.

I went to i28, was very funny - www.aqua-pcs.net/i28

Jolt cola, maybe some mountain dew.

Wouldn`t it be awesome with OC3D stickers on the casings ? The likes of Xleague.tv will be there and exposure on tv is pretty good ;)

EDIT: UV stickers btw.

I was tempted to go but I for the cost of a weekend on my computer, eating junkfood in a cramped, warm room with loads of sweaty nerds, playing a game I play all the time, I could go abroad or at least stay a night or two in a nice hotel somewhere.

I'll wait till the OC3D lan (will be biggest party the UK has ever seen) for that tbh ;)

Yeah id be up 4 a OC3D Lan, but why has no1 said to bring beer!!!! I would say the most important thing (even if u forgot ur pc you can still get wasted and pretend to own :D ).

That is a good point,

Where can we hold it, TIMMY i notice your in sheffield, im near harrogate, but where is everyone else?
