maybe cos it is GMT+1 in the land of UK. probably affecting your time somehow. try selecting your timezone in usercp to a more correct one.

I'm with Pipex. They may not be that cheap but I can't fault the service. No problems ever with my connection, consistently good speeds and unlimited bandwidth means good for porn and games :)

£30/month for 1.1Mbps down, 256Kbps up, unlimited bandwidth.

Check out www.adslguide.org, they have listings on all the major providers. I think you'll find Pipex rules the roost over lesser ISPs like Wannacan't and British Titicom :p

I dont like to tell anybody who i'm with because the more people they have the lower service i might recieve :D

My ISP gave me a discount on my broadband when i asked.

They have NEVER had any technical problems.

They have phoned me a couple of times to make sure that i'm happy.

They upgraded my line to an office package without charging me upgrade fees (£50)

They downgraded me to home package without charging me downgrade fees.

They re upgraded me FOC

Emails responded to within the hour.

Phone answered straight away

BT's aint bad at the moment ya know....they are pretty good really. Wanadoo are crap (never had problems with connection, but they won't get 2mbps).....never heard of Pipex but I'll have a look at them...

I've never had less than 2.5Mbit, besides in 1996-2000 when we had AOL.

Then we got RR.

It was 2.5Mbit when we got it, soon was 3Mbit, now is 5Mbit :D

And the funny thing is, we're still paying the same, good'ol $44.99 + Fee's & Taxes

me paying AU$69.95 a month for adsl2+

your upload os larger than your download? also adsl connections have thr upload speed locked at 256k. definately not 512 and i dont see why you would downgrade your connection.
