It could, but my piece of shit microfag international won't take my kickass winchester past 2.5 ghz and my temps are very acceptable. Hot temps don't bother me as long as idle is below 49C and load is 57C or below, I tend to use the computer as a heater anyway. I find this stock cooler that came with it to be the best I've seen. If I upgraded, I'd just go with water cause I like my shit quiet. I don't want a 120mm fan with 100kg solid copper hs breaking my motherboard in half too.

Yep but you are right the Stock cooling from the Winnie is pretty good. ATM i am using it to.

stock cooling does suck.. but my stock hsf for my xp 2500 @ 3200 speed has done me well.. temps are as low as they were at stock speed. The only reason I dont have it clocked higher is that the comp only has ddr333 in it and i have a 1:1 ratio.

That's my P3 system which I was forced to use for about a week, I even grabbed a $35 MX4000 so I could play some games. I've fixed my barton system and gotten my new ram for my winchester. I'm too lazy to change it though and it's funny to have a system that does 3 min+ superpi in my profile. My winchester system needs some more fans to be complete so it's not done yet.
