Any thoughts on the Acer Z35P

Hello there,

Looks like the Acer Z35P is now available on Amazon UK. I have been looking for a 3440X1440 monitor for the new build I am putting together. I saw a couple of videos on YouTube and it looks like some people are complaining about it being a VA panel and not IPS. I am not an expert in monitors and would value your feedback.

I am in no rush for the build, do we know if the new HDR monitors will be out soon and would they be much better than this to be worth the wait?

I'd say yes... I saw something on these forums before where it was an 3440x1440p, 100Hz, G-Sync, HDR* and QuantomDot Technology* in it?...

I had the Acer X34 and the X34A, both had major BLB issues and had massive coil whine when being at 100Hz.

I personally don't really like that the front "Predator" logo has a red backcolour, yet the underglow is several different colours. Just seems odd and off to me.

I am also in the search for a monitor like this, but will wait for Acer X35 and ASUS PG35VQ new monitors that will come eventually.
