I have been looking at memory for a new build and wondered if anyone has had any experience with this kit: Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) 2133MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM XMP X2 Grey Series

I would be grateful for any comments

I think I caught sight of some in one of Tom's you tube reviews...............but can't be sure.

Hey mate i have these in my bench rig and the perform perfectly i usually use Mushkin on ocz but these have been performing great have no doubt about buying them its worth it

no worries mate i would tell you har far past 2200 they would go but sandybridge is crap for ocing ram tbh.

the next ratio step up was 2400 but that was a no go for me, not saying they wouldnt do that with a bump in volts and looser timings but as the rams not mine i wasnt going to push them you know and i didnt have a lot of time to play with them either. iirc 8-11-10-27 1t @2200 was giving over 24gb/s in the aida cache and mem bench which i think is insane tbh.

HEHEHEHEHEHE................hope not BigIan...............just authorised a big order including that

Thank's for the response though.........really appreciated !

Well Marsey..................I have just placed my order within the last few seconds for a whole Sandy Bridge setup.........lets see what happens when I receive/get it built

but thanks again for the response

you know you want to come play in the bench team when you do

even a small oc on a sb cpu will push you near the top in the gpu benchmarks

I think The Memoery kit you are talking about has been reviewed recently and is on the front page. Just wondering if you can also purchase separate thermal fins or some sought add on. I really love the fin look of most DDR3 RAM and the Grey series dont come with them.
