Ok so i've been looking at all my old office pc's that i didn't make myself because i had some time to burn. So i started prodding and just generally messing about with it , it doesn't mater as this pc is completely clapped out now.I don't know the background to this pc, when it was bought, how much it was or the performance (I played command and conquer on it).

So after removing the aska cpu cooler i found some dry thermal paste but underneath i found an athlon 64. Now i know some stuff about the athlons the x2 ones that is but this is a bit past my time; in terms of computers or i just plain forgotten (I did know some stuff before I'm sure).

So could anyone give me some info about it like how good it was in comparison to the other cpu's and it's original price ect...

I have one of those in a system just now, its about 5+ years old. It was the equivalent of a phenom in its it day. I think anyway. As for price give or take £100. Not entirely sure but roughly. :p
