Antec vs Cooler Master PSU

which one should i get

was tossing up between the

- Antec High Current Pro Platinum 1000W Power Supply

- CoolerMaster Silent Pro Hybrid M1050 1050w

the only reason i would go with the antec is because it has Short Circuit Protection (SCP), No Load Operation (NLO) & Brown-Out Protection (BOP) but wasnt 1005 sure and wonted another opinion

Personally I would go with the Antec unit, based on reviews and past experiences with Antec's higher end PSUs

yea i have read them and the only thing i liked the cooler master aesthetics more but i much rather the better protection and just wonted to get some other opinions

Coolermaster PSU's are crap, Antec's are solid units especially their platinum series. Also look at Seasonic, Be Quiet, Corsair and Enermax to name a few. Be Quiet's new Dark Power Pro P10 PSU's are amazing, but they're expensive

Get a Corsair or a Seasonic unit .

You are in the same pricerange as the corsair ax1200,i would consider this psu if it were me.

Or the seasonic platinum-1000.

ok i was looking at the Seasonic one: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=15_972&products_id=18858

and i cant go with the corsair one because it is to long for the case i wont (NZXT switch 810) as i am watercooling with a 240mm rad down the bottom
