Anodizing the noctua nh-d14

Hey everyone, i was thinking about anodizing the D14 to change it's color to black.

any one knows how will this effect it's performance? or how will it effect the copper heat pipes.

how are you going to prep between the blades?

copper and aluminium anodize differently, don't they?

if you can overcome this, the base will have to be masked!!!

well if i am gona do this i'm not going to put the whole thing it the water/acid , just the cooler fins, the base will be out of the water.

the heatpipes are copper.

doesn't acid make copper go green?

a salt (strong saline) bath is what i think you may be after!!!
