I could bet anything that Nvidia uses their own drivers to slowly but surely sabotage their own GPU's to incentives the purchase of their new ones.

I couldn't believe this but it seems to be true. Think it's time to go over to team red.

One more gimping evidence NVIDIA!!!!! You will never recover your trust 20 years has fallen into mud..that game clearly favors Maxwell. Thats way to force to upgrade. What you could expect from them it is Ngreedia the way customer is meant to be played.....Kepler was downgraded for long time in drivers and tesselation has been increated in games to favors Maxwell and cripple older cards, thats how business work..and after complains NVIDIA has released W3 kepler fix driver with 10-11 more avg fps think about that gamers.....same happend on Fermi i am still forced to use old icafe 344.47 driver to gain 5-7 more fps in all games compared to latest crap drivers...one of 2 rare drivers which have true boost on my card......As soon Pascal comes to market, same with happend with Maxwell it will be gimped in games and drivers....way to be played...,,,you can see gameplays google Dzoni90 Dailymotion

AMD is much better..

Jeebus man give it a rest. You're like a one man revolt

Yet the 980Ti tops the tables ...... Curious

And also, if AMD are better, go get an AMD card and stop whining

You said it, its ancient.

At some point cards have to go EOL otherwise the drivers and games can't be specified well enough for current product which more people own.

Yes man...thats my beloved antient museum card....still running and her soul is destroyed on oc 5+years already aaaaahahahaa :D everything depends from game...Crysis 3 runs fine on ultra-high with smaa AA 1080p 30-50 fps, metal gear solid V and Mad Max amazing good optimised custom ultra 1080p 30-45 fps.... but AC Unity and especially Batman Arkham Knight is unplayable even at 1024x768 garbage game maxwell needs to run it fine:mellow:
i also running GTA 5 great on 1080p if you want to see video copy this to browser word Grand Theft Auto V GTS 450 1080p

Halloween is over. Please stop the torture, scaring me with talk of playing pc games at 30fps.

My general rule of thumb is upgrade cards every second year given that AMD/Nvidia release a new series once a year.

The value of my current card does not depreciate as rapidly allowing me to claw back some of my expenditure. Sadly I'm an SLI/Crossfire addict so always purchase two cards at a time.

You would be surprised how nice this antient junk card play games at 1080p depends from game, huge variation on game details and fps...optimisation is a key :)

I know, I had a 580. I then upgraded to 780s. And now I just recently jumped up to 980Ti.

All depends from game..Batman AK is unplayable even at low 1024x768 vs 1080p no difference xexexee what a game..meawhile GTA 5, MGSV TPP, Mad Max flying at amazing settings 1080p...thats true amazing pc games......thats why high end is never profitable some middle card is best solution.... ;) that old fermi thermi girl is still working aahahahaa 82 degrees:D

Isn't this game Nvidia sponsored? Just like nearly every Ubisoft game? I'm not surprised tbh. As long as it's playable on AMD cards as I might pick the game up then it's fine with me.

I have sadly also recently succumbed to this addiction. They just look so nice in there together.

Still two cards every two years or one card every year costs about the same and you get a sweet looking setup.

No not everything is optimized for SLI/Crossfire but when it works :D
