A very successful analyst has predicted Apple will release an 'iPad Pro', alongside a stylus.

Nice to see the surface pro has started to make its mark on the Tablet world.

Where Apple/Android goes, the other will soon follow.

Also the Apple = Hipster thing is really not true nowadays. Old people have really taken a shine to iPads more then the 'yoof'.

I guess the hipsters have moved on to Windows Phones now, or the Chinese droids that are unknown to the masses (Oppo, Oneplus, ZTE, Xiaomi).

*casually hides HTC 8x*

All you pleb tier phones.

The Xiaomi Note Pro is King. Even I'm getting it and Android gives me a rash.

-edit- for the record it'll be about £400.

A HTC fan above me, lols. ;)

I'm not a fan of any brand, I just buy the best price/performance product that best suits my needs. Admittedly the past 2 phones I owned are made by HTC but that's cause I do believe out of any of the big Western brands, they do make some of the best phones.

It's just that their customer and update support are both wank (unless you get their flagship phone), so I'm going Lumia.

Sandwiched. :( *Pulls out Galaxy S5 and the HTC guys run away in fear* :D ;)

Hahahahha a Galaxy S5!

Shoulda gotten a Oneplus One or an Oppo Find 5 ;)

Just saying but I don't need heavier specs than a low-end device for Whatsapp and web browsing :p

My new phone is going to cost me 1/4th of that price and it still has a quad core 1.2GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, WP8.1, 8GB storage and SD cards up to 128GB and a 5MP camera at the front and rear. What more do I need?

I like how a lot of middle-aged men and teens spend 500-600 quid on top-end smartphones, and eventually end up running the same Whatsapp/Facebook stuff and using the web browser. Bragging rights above all eh?

WELL GUESS WHAT MY NEXT PHONE WILL BE BRIGHT GREEN :D

Pulling out that S5 would make me laugh my ass off to no end :D

My mom has a S5.. i used it for 10mins and hated the hell out of it. Such a shitty phone:p
The phone itself was okay its just the GUI that is horrible

Looks pretty amazing. Screen's just a bit too big for my microscopic hands. I feel like the 5" screen on my Moto G (2014) is as high as I should go. Awesome phone it is. Too bad I had to send it in for repairs after two months because it got caught in a boot loop and the recovery mode wouldn't work (the fallen android logo won't appear). Should get it back in a week, maybe 2.

With "GUI" do you mean as the HUD that is in games like Battlefield?... ie the menu screen that the Android devices have?...

GUI= Graphical User Interface.
HUD= Heads Up Display.

GUI would be a catergory, HUD would be a sub catergory of GUI. Know what i mean? While they are similar a GUI is what you interact with and the design. HUD is the design but can't be interacted with(usually, or very limited interaction in video games) and just provides relevant information, ie, in your example the amount of ammo and grenades you currently have.

Don't know if that made sense.. hopefully this helps
GUI: In computing, a graphical user interface (GUI, sometimes pronounced "gooey" or "gee-you-eye") is a type of interface that allows users to interact with electronic devices through graphical icons and visual indicators

HUD: A heads-up display (HUD) is a computer-augmented display that presents information, data or other visual elements to a user's focal viewpoint.

its now hip to knock on Apple instead of being a product user. Much like hipsters now openly announce "I dont use facebook" etc. Its all circle jerking.

However I do find it amusing that everyone is at war with one another over phones... All this "brand XX is the king" or "mine is better than yours shit" over mobile phones gets tedious. Might be because I work for a mobile network so I hear it..hourly

My only gripe is the bloatware.. although thats gone with Cyanogen mod. Do people use flipbook etc?

I'm not to sure but I personally don't. The "Bloatware" doesn't bother me, its easy enough to uninstall or just ignore it. I just ignore the stuff I don't use. I've even got software carried over from when I had an Xperiza Z like the Smartwatch application, it doesn't get in the way so. :p

Except you cant uninstall them. If you try, to all you do is remove the updates and return the stuff to factory default. Its unnecessary space wasted.

I agree you can ignore it. But why must we keep something we dont use. I like that I can turn my phone into a portable storage carrier with a 64gb micro card but I would still love to free up resources and space to have the phone setup exactly like i want it.

Really? I thought it was just a case of drag and drop to the bin, or is that just third party apps?
