amp for headphones

Its the volume control fella or the balance control "guys you are making this more complicated than needed"

I do have the volume control on the right side
Sometime i put it on the middle and Sometime on the very high, but it still sound like something is missing in the sound if that is the question

yes that was question.

there is one more possibility, gnd connection broken. you can check that by mooving balance slider to either full left or right(right click on speaker, playback devices, properties, levels, balance.)

if this is case bass should be more apparent when in both full left and right positions.

Please leave the thread. You are over complicating everything and not helping this guy on anything. He obviously is very new to this stuff. He doesn't need the most detailed answer. Just a simple do this and this. If you can't do that then dude really just stop.

OP we have given you a lot of help so far, are you decided on what to do now or are you still confused?

Im kinda confuse because all the knowledge i been aware to in this thread, i dont know what is good for me... A soundcard or amp...
Some of thebguys made me believe i need a soundcard and it will sound better, but other said amp will be good.
I dont mind to buy amp because some of the guys said its cheaper and wonderful and absolute make a change and it will be awesome
And some saying that the best fir me is the soundcard.
And really if the asus STX 2 will do the job for giving the power to my headphones so be it, i will buy it .
I really need to know that i doing the right decision and buying something that will make change and will drive uo my speakers and specially my headphones to the next level.
I just worry a little bit about the STX 2 because i need two adapters and i afraid it wont work or i loose quality because of this.
And i just want to make sure everythink work and i dont waste my money for nothing.
So as the guys make me see it ,it will be easier for me woth sound card, but it will work well?i will noticed the difference?it wont make troubles with the adapters?

And for dabar_sulta , i check it and the two side sound the same but the right side sound a little bit...just a little bit woth more bass or just better

I'll say again, as ya seemed to have missed me saying it.

You do NOT need multiple adapters for the STX 2 for your headphones, you can use a simple 3.5 to 6mm standard adapter (one of which should be included with the soundcard I think, but you will need another for the Mic anyway) which will not have any effect what-so-ever on the output.

It can drive speakers using RCA, and the cans just fine on the 6mm output HEADPHONE out jack.

Ok so in that case, thank you ladies and gentlemen ,brothers and sisters.
It was my first thread in Oc3d forums and i learn a lot from here,i was very glad to see everyone help here.
I think i will buy the STX 2 in that case

you cant make something more simple than it needs to be dude, now you will see why:
... i check it and the two side sound the same but the right side sound a little bit...just a little bit woth more bass or just better
when you pull L slider on 0% there should be no output from left side of headphones, same goes when you pull r slider on 0% there should be no output on right side of headphones.

if there is output on both in any case when 1 is on 0% you have fault at cabling or in sockets or simply broken headphones.

No it looks like it's from n-Lion, I'd be surprised if Asus themselves sold it direct via amazon tbh.

Any seller is fine, it's backed by amazon.

The shipping times are a bit questionable though, most say february for me, but that's likely because I'm a UK customer.

If I recall correctly you can use a PCI-e card in an X16 slot just fine.

Run it in your pci-e 2.0 slot and your GPU in the 3.0 slot

edit - late to the party but I'd just run a headphone amp off the optical out from your motherboard.

ok thank you .
Im using the pci-e 3.0 for my graphic card (its the upper)
so i'll use the pci-e 2.0 for the soundcard

its just look strange because the slot is so long and the soundcard pci-e X1 is short
