AMD's Lisa Su Confirms that Navi will have "Launches" in 2019

2060 overclocked is close to stock 2070, but coincidentally you can also overclock 2070 and it responds well to that. Case in point, went and beat friend's 2070 score on time spy with OC and better processor, got smacked to bits when he applied OC.

just a few questions.

the cheapest new vega 56 in the biggest retailer in my country is just only 20€ less than an RTX 2060.

With Vega 56 you get 3 games: RE2, Division 2 and Devil may cry 5 i think. With RTX 2060 you can get BFV or Anthem code.

seen a lot of videos of Vega 56 vs RTX 2060. In the majority of games, wins RTX 2060 (except those particularly designed for AMD cards). Some games favour one or the other. but the hole picture is that RTX 2060 is better.

It also has a "new" technology for the future vs obsolete Vega tech. Also Vegas are hotter, less overclockable and much more power hungry than RTX.

the RTX 2060 oced is almost an RTX 2070 stock. I don't know why would you chose a card that is clearly worse than an Nvidia (unless you are in team red for the win) and don't care about any products from the competitors, which seems to be your case.

I would chose, ANY DAY OF THE YEAR an RTX 2060 over a Vega 56.

I am kind in the same boat here. I have currently in my medium gaming pc a 1070 msi gaming X.

I can probably sell it now to a friend and so I would need a new GPU for this pc. What would I chose? A vega 56 or a 2060? A no brainer for me as I am in a SFF case (Ghost S1) and the heat and power hungry vega 56 is a no go vs the newer 2060.

I am not a fan boy at all as I get what suits me the best - i changed recently a rma of a 8700k for a 2700x.

Man, AMD GPU prices are on the floor right now.

Last night I was speaking to my friend in MD USA, and he said he was building up his old Alienware Aurora for his sister. 3820k, 8gb ram etc but he had no GPU. So I say "Buy one for her, then she can game with us again" and he's like "I would have no idea what to buy".

So I take a look on Newegg and the RX 570 Strix (basically the best 570) had been halved in price to $139. Then you get to pick two of three games offered (Division 2, RE2 and the other one I forgot). So those games in the USA are $60 each. Not only that, but just two days ago he was telling me he's buying RE2, and The Division 2? it's a given for both of us because it's co op.

So let's do the maths. $139 for a RX 570 with two games he was going to buy at $60 a pop. That's $19 for a RX 570 Strix.

Now that, ladies and gents, is what you call a bargain :D

Hilariously he didn't have the funds (payday is next Thurs) so I stepped up and loaned it to him. Mostly because he's like my BFF, and slightly because his sister is so cute :D

hahahaha.
