If it's true, it means much higher single thread performance, which is good news. I reckon we'll know more later in the year, I may not be jumping to Intel for my next upgrade yet. 
Notice the way it's from an analyst day/call and the date also - May 2015 and under embargo until May 6th. That means you'll know soon enough whether it's true or not. ^_^

I wonder if they will still be able to do just as well as they do now in multi thread while still improving their single threaded performance? Would be pretty awesome! DDR4 support they got right too.. by then prices should be much lower and they will need every little bit to surpass intel based off their current performance.
If they get it right and all goes well, maybe i'll build another rig that's full AMD!
