AMD is soon to release an A10 7890K Godavari APU and a new Stock CPU stock cooler, offering faster speeds on both the CPU and GPU at the same TDP.

It has not been confirmed if the new cooler will be used with this APU. Also there is nothing to say that it will not work with both.

Yeah I expect AM4 to use the same cooler retention really. AMD are usually really good on things like that

they feature the current FX CPU#s with the wraith so I wouldnt know why it shouldn't be used with the A10 or AM4

I believe, I read in an article when they announced the new cooler, on this site, that they are the new AM4 coolers and are backward compatible with FM2 , AM3 and AM2+.
That's one thing I like about AMD.
You don't need to buy a new cooler each time you upgrade to a new socket CPU.
Especially if you're in water cooling.
They should of fixed this years ago though.
