Or a hipster
I also forgot to add quotes around 'full hair experience'
TressFX AMD? That ruined performance on Nvidia cards
That's Nvidia's fault. It's open software. After a few driver updates in Tomb Raider Nvidia cards did better with TressFX than AMD did. With Gameworks it's not like that. AMD can't look into it and help their users get better performance.
Physx, HBAO+, TXAA, MFAA are all Nvidia exclusive, Why aren't these being moaned about constantly ?
Well PhysX can be handled by a quad-core cpu. HBAO+ noticeable yes, regarding the AAs, it doesn't really change much how the game looks to the as much as hairworks

Try using Physx at the maximum setting in Arkham Origins and not get lag with an AMD GPU, It's impossible even with a quad core.
On an Nvidia card no lag ergo why aren't people moaning about that ?
PhysX was always for Nvidia only. You can't run it on AMD GPUs. That's why it "lags" because CPUs aren't really good at processing PhysX.
All of the other stuff you mentioned aren't Nvidia exclusive, AMD can still use them. I just turned HBAO+ on in Witcher 3. WorksSeriously though, never had a problem using any AA and they all look the same anyways or so subtle a difference you would have to stop and stare. Just some are more efficient than others is the biggest difference. That's why no one cares to moan about them. It's not that big a deal. Gameworks is a big deal. It's not the implementation that's the problem with me, it's the concept and idea behind it. If AMD did this everyone would try to rip their hearts out for the same reason. But won't happen because 76% of the market is biased towards Nvidia. A few are exceptions, but, still got more than 2/3 biased.
AKAIK TXAA isn't even selectable on AMD cards is it ?
When I played Arkham Origins with a 290X TXAA wasn't selectable.
Not sure.. don't know which games that use it? If I knew i would check. Think Skyrim has it but Skyrim is literally broken for me so can't try that one.
Skyrim is working fine for me, you might just have a bad install or something
Nope. Even reinstalled Windows. Still won't work. Pretty sure it's steam screwing up somewhere during download.
