AMD Ryzen 1600X benchmarks leak

Thermaltake might actually make decent products, but they just seem really slimy to me so I don't want to see. They're really desperate and are morally ambiguous. They may not be immoral, but I get the impression they wouldn't care if they were. They'd hide it behind a smile and a new product.

That's fine but that's your thoughts.

And that's why i can not support a company like that and there's other companies to me who are like that too.

It's not really an opinion to say "might", is it?

"I might be in bed by 11 so it might not be best to call then."

"Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man."

It doesn't fit does it?

That's why changed it

Oh, OK. I didn't see that.

I think their cases are quite ugly. I think their fans are quite ugly. Their water cooling components are even ugly. And they're not even original. It wouldn't be so bad if they copied but were attractive. They copy and they're inferior versions of what they're copying which are already affordable.

Yes and your not the only person who thinks the same way about their products, There's plenty of other people.

I wouldn't even touch their products with a 10 foot pole.

There are other companies products i wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole either.

I have companies on my s**t list.

Also i'm using parts on my system that i know some people (on here) don't like but i have my reasons why i pick those parts i have.

Once i like a company i become very very very brand loyal and nothing or on one can really change that expect for me.

The last product/price stack looked spot on to me. I also think I am in agreement with AdoredTV, these leaks are deliberate. Sort of like a way for AMD to dangle the carrot to make sure people pay attention on release day.

I'm still quite torn personally. I guess if I did upgrade my 5820k at least I wouldn't have to buy any memory which is a bonus.

I won't jump on it on day one though. Got a couple of lean months coming up any way, which should give me time to analyse it all properly and make the right decision. I just don't think I need it, which does make me kinda sad :D

That kinda stuff is very common these days, wouldn't surprise me if it was deliberate. Games publishers do it all the time and Nvidia certainly seem to do it, and if it isn't deliberate then these companies are very stupid.

But at the same time, if these chips are going out to news outlets, even under NDA stuff is going to get leaked.

Nice!!!

My E5 1650 v1 overclocked to 4,8ghz scores 1805 single core performance and 11800 in multicore.

If those AMD numbers are correct, in that particular benchmark , the top of the line 6 cores 12 threads 1600X scores more than my Xeon even being almost 1ghz below mine.
That sounds brutal!!!

My moto has always been function then form. If its fit for purpose, and ticks all the boxes, then that's cool, if it looks sexy as well then that's a bonus.

If like a mate of mine you are a sucker for a pretty face, then eventually it will bite you in the ass.

I suppose I do have brands that I favour, but that's generally because I have bought stuff that has lasted me years - but that just seems common sense...

1'37v.............. thats a bit high.

It would be if I ran it like that 24/7 but unlike most people I run mine @4.0 1.2v 24/7 which I find plenty to drive mGPU setups for gaming.

I could use less than 1.2v if I wanted to but can not see the point messing around on a watercooled setup.
