AMD Mantle Update for Battlefield 4 delayed again - Pushed to February

people tend to disagree on that
and don't worry, i'm pretty calm

Disagree on what he said? Honestly if your talking about his support of AMD then you must notice the Nvidia support or the intel support others on this forum have. Not to mention the people who go out of their way to discredit other brands. Its easy to critize both and sound like you only support one brand.

Ya it is. Some people easily forget though. I figured i could just help those who forgot or didn't understand something.

you got to admit that you are riding the AMD train hard lately, even though that's not a crime it gets annoying when you pretty much disregard anything that would speak against AMD.
every single thread about someone considering an nvidia or intel product gets hijacked by you within minutes, doesn't matter if the OP stated a reason for his decision or not. So don't wonder if people think of you as a fanboy, mistakenly or not.

Whether that's true or not it suits my needs and performs admirably.
Yeah I don't get all the hullabaloo about AMD's CPUs and recommendations against them for gaming. One would swear my FX-8350 would bottleneck the hell out of my GTX 780, but yet I get great frame rates in all my games.

Objectively speaking, I can't notice any difference between games (even Skyrim) on my rig and my friend's who has an i7-3770k overclocked to 4.5GHz. I must be insane. ^_^

The fx4100 was supposed to go against the i3-low end i5s (such as the i5 3330) but its competition is more pentiums and low end i3s. If the game makes use of the cores the 4100 just about does the job. The 4300 was a significant improvement, much like the rest of the Piledriver cpus. However, the Athlon x4 chips are stronger performers, especially in single core performance. From what I gather they actually have stronger cores then any of the Bulldozer chips, my one defiantly kicked the crap out of a 6100 in games with poor cpu usage, namely GTA IV and ARMA II.

Hopefully Mantle can help the Fx4100 chip give much better performance and worth its money. If it can remain cheaper than an i3 and perform better/equal with Mantle running then it should be a very very solid chip.

The fx4100 is a lost cause without mantle, especially now that most of AMD's apu's are the same price/have more grunt.

i don't know what you are using it for but it can't be more than minesweeper. that CPU bottlenecks a 6870 in gaming.

1. the 8350 (why didn't you buy an 8320?) and the 4100 are in 2 completely different worlds.
2. really? you should know better than to compare a 3770k and an 8350 in gaming.

no. screw bulldozer.
in the BF4 beta i got ~15 fps with a GTX 770 because of the fx-4100. yes, that CPU comes from hell and needs to be buried so far down that nobody will ever find it again.

The 8320 is a bit of a gamble as quite often they can only go to around 4.4 or lower. If you want to get a ~5ghz chip you have to go for a 8350.

I'm with seeka on the screw bulldozer idea. Especially now its usually cheaper to get a piledriver cpu or an athlon x4 (if you're looking at 4100 money).

BTW, this is with a 7950. The numbers might show a difference, but either I or my friend can't notice one.

I guess you've just confirmed my insanity. I knew it! I better sign up at a mental home so... :(

no i mean that the 3770k makes no difference in gaming in general, compare it to the 3570k.
