AMD is rumoured to release an APU based on Polaris and Zen in 2017 which is said to support memory speeds of 3200MHz and 11 GCN GPU cores.

If the memory controller on those chips allows for generous memory OCs -current gen allows for 2400MHz as official support but can be further overclocked- then the gpu performance might just mean with some higher speed rams might render gpus like the xx50 from NVIDIA and r9 x60/x70 from AMD useless

Who made that chart? Polaris is still GCN? It's nothing brand new like VLIW to GCN was. Would be more accurate if you put the GCN version next to it, like 1.0/1.1/etc
