AMD Branch out into Memory

Meh, RAM is RAM, it's all the same with different heatsinks, doesn't really what you buy tbh. Obviously, stay away from cheap brands because of them using cheaper parts, but any of the well known brands it's basically all the same.

no each revision can have different IC chips and that may cause instability issues by branding this AMD and insuring that each successive batch is the same chip they can insure product stability thru the entire range. At least thats the hype behind it lol.

Well the point is there are people out there not as well researched as ourselves who go all AMD and Radeon branding. This memory will really appeal to them. Memory rebranding isn't all that uncommon.

AMD isn't a drowning company, they're doing very well outside the enthusiast market. They're APU's are doing especially well, the 7000 series looks like it should be a success too.

Well they actually being pulling a loss on the company which isnt good but not saying there going under

Time will tell on that move, hopefully its a fan oriented choice rather than "we need to renew revenew" after intel took a big "byte" from their processors sales. best of luck AMD.

The bigger a the battle between Giants the better the Ammo(hardwere).
