My GoogleFu skills seem have been misplaced down the back of the sofa, together with a plethora of sweet wrappers and loose change. These chips seem to be rarer than hens teeth. Does anyone know where I can buy one in the UK?

TIA.

actually just checked that link, seems it's pre-order and everywhere else I checked was out of stock, sorry about that.

-kind off topic but, I was wondering why you wanted this particular cpu, seeing as the phenom x6 is about the same price and performs around x2 better.

just curios, but you don't have to answer.

This is for a low budget, low power M-ITX system. Doesn't require a massive amount of processing power, but want the onboard GPU to be able to do some very basic gaming. This seemed ideal as it was only 65W total.

Why not just buy the K version? I built a amd itx build for my brother in law and over clocked to 3.8 ghz easily or the A6K??....I did read some where that the normal A8s have been replaced with the Ks...gonna bug me now on where I saw the info

I want to run the system off a PicoPSU 150, and thought that getting a low power cpu would give me some wiggle room in the future to add say a 6570?
