AMD announce their Ryzen 7 series of CPUs

I did have some fun and frolics with Just Cause 3 I must say. First it refused to use more than one GPU so I did not play it at all (4k, I had absolutely no chance). Then a few months later I installed it on my rig with the Fury X in and I am having a great laugh on the wing of a plane with a rocket launcher then this big message comes up on the screen in a black box.

"WARNING. SYSTEM IS LOW ON MEMORY. WE RECOMMEND 16GB". I only had 8gb. I just about got time to read it before the game CTD.

So I had to buy another 8gb ram. Must say though, it runs hella sweet now at 1440p on the Fury X :)

Never jived with Just Cause. I'll likely give the third one a try, but it's not on my must-play list. I'm playing Splinter Cell Conviction at the moment. With a few setting adjustments and tweaking I can stay above 80 FPS and usually be around 90-110. With certain settings it'll go as low as 30 FPS, but that's with Nvidia features. Looks pretty good considering it's three or more years old. I'm enjoying it. The original Splinter Cell was one of my favourite games of all time and one of the titles that got me into PC gaming. Same for Deus Ex.

I'm more excited to play Red Dead Redemption 2. If that comes out on PC, the world will be OK for a hundred hours or so. The first one was absolutely amazing. I'll buy a PS4 Pro if I have to just to play the game. I also have to play Uncharted 4.

JC3 doesn't seem much of an improvement over 2
You can find 2 super cheap. It's pretty fun:p

Sounds like this thread has gone from the subjech of AMD's Ryzen CPUs to certain games lol and how they run in general.

IMO anyone who pre orders is a idiot you're putting a lot of trust into in house benchmarks instead of waiting for respectable Youtubers to review them and then and only then you should buy not before.

But i know people who can't be bother waiting and will just order them but if there's issue well that's the price for pay for being a early a early adopter and no i'm not say saying this cause it's AMD i'm saying it even with Intel & Nvidia as well.

In the long run i don't give a F what you buy it's your choice.

But "some" people (i'm talking about in general) need to remember if you jump on something early and it doesn't work the way you want that's the price you pay for being a early adopter.

I never pre order anything.

I am surprised so many have pre-ordered, but I don't think they'll be disappointed with their purchases. I wouldn't do it, but that's me.
