AMD 960T Only Delayed?

When the cores have been unlocked, do they function as the other four would? i.e do they have the same oc potential?

Poss newb question but probably not a bad starting place.

Really depends fella, some wont unlock at all, some may only work at stock. Its a bit of a lottery as they wont be sold as garanteed unlockers.

You should buy it assuming that it won't do any more than what's on the box. If it does, bonus! If it doesn't, you haven't lost anything.

Agreed. People are expecting that when they buy this they can unlock two extra cores, but they really shouldn't expect that.

I recall seeing a roadmap some time ago about the 9xxT series being shifted to Q3 2010, rather than Q2. It'll be interesting to see whether it will infact be OEM rather than Retail.

Not sure what kind of budget we're looking for here. Scan are selling the 1055T for £156, which seems cheap to me for a retail cpu of this nature.

What price we hoping the 960T to be ?

Good point. For a quad, which is what it is at the end of the dayyou would be looking for a 130/140rrp to make the risk of it not unlocking worth it over the 1055T.
