hello,

looking for one card to play the new games:) going for one card only atm
just needed to know amd 7990 or gtx 780/titan i saw the review:) so think it would more go to 7990 or 780:) gonna have the money soon now so;)

if you go for an overclocked 780 like the evga sc acx you will get the same performance as a stock titan, much cheaper


having said that, the 690 is still much better value for money.
 
overclocked 780 is the way i went and i dont regret it at all! Much cheaper and pretty much on par with a titan, it also can be SLI'd down the road which would absolutely destroy everything else on the market
 
The new 13.8 drivers fix A LOT of the frame issues with AMD cards.. So 7990 with the recent price cut is an attractive card to get along with 8 free games. Also 780>Titan for value and performance... Go for the Lightning card if possible.
 
For just gaming no one should ever get a single Titan, they do have their uses in 3 and 4 way setups but not as a stand alone card. There are way too many other cheaper options that give better performance.

I would also avoid the HD 7990 at the moment, I have been reading a lot about problems with coil wine with the latest ones.

I would go for one of the GTX 780s with a view to sli later if needed.

The other option is to wait for the HD 9xxx series to launch and see what they have to offer.
 
well ill maybe wait on the release of the new amd series:) but no release date atm i guess??

ill update my hard disks first and put in a new SSD only got 64 gb one :) also gonna get some NAS for backups so :) would the new amd come out before BF4?

edit: our would i get a cheap 6 serie nvidia one or some amd one? untill i could save up for a massive one?:) lemme know

well its mainly for gaming so :) i got a gtx 275 now so a 650ti would be massive update already.. :) but dunno i don't give shit about intell or amd tbh just need the best for gaming :) and making movie's also later on :) any has idea when amd will launch new once? or not yet

i'm a euro man :p euro euro euro the magic failing stupid money :p so that would be arround the 250 euro ;) i found one from evga 760 SC ACX version 270 euro or the asus 760 251 euro gigabyte version 240 euro:) dunno i like asus never had problems with it :) still got my gtx 275 from asus and it still solid :) got it since it was out so :)
 
I'd go with either of the Asus or Gigabyte cards personally.

7950 prices are dropping like a rock now too, if that's enough performance for you. Those bloody things have dropped almost $100 in price lately.
 
well I have a 7950 I have to say thay are very good cards it makes my old 6990 and my 6950 look bad maybe go for a pair of 7950s that's what im going to do very soon

i hope neverbackdown your right and ill wait a bit then :) would be waste of money as i need card for gaming, and even then the price will drop bit from the old cards so i can still pick one then ;)

Waiting is the wise choice when something is literally about to come out... even then you are right about the price drop which means you can get even more for your money.
