i have a amd 64 3000 laptop here.

can i take out cpu and replace with my amd 64 dual 4400+.

is this possible to do.

Thought laptops were socket 754? If they were socket 939 I'd be the first to by a mobile chip for my desktop.

Might be wrong though.

mine is a venice socket 939 m8.. has pci express ati graphics.

just wondering if my cpu would work ok.

if its socket 939 then my guess is youd probably be able too - how ever chances are the cpu cooler in it will be overwhelmed by the x2 and will probably over heat, and itl rape your battery life....

might i suggest you hang on to your x2 until youve tried clocking your fx60 - as you should be warned there's every chance it will only OC as high as your x2 and will cost a truck load more....

where have u seen these clocks m8. from what i have seen they do 3 ghz on water..

what can you get from your x2 mate? Average on a mach 2 gt ive seen for the fx60 is probably about 3.3-3.4ghz.
