Amd 64 3000 754 Ram limit help

I recently installed another 512 stick of pc 3200 corsair VS, but I couldnt remember if my chips memory controller cant handle 2.5 CAS with 1.5 gigs total of ram, or if it was it can only clock to 333 mhz fsb, or if its both. To be safe i set CAS to 3 and FSB to 333.

Help? Im hoping I can set CAS back to 2.5 or the mem back to 400

you should try it and find out. if it doesnt work then we have a problem.

For three sticks I think you need DDR333 w/2T

333, damn. total T doenst really matter, its only the CAS thats effected (im pretty sure). I might go back to 2.5 today.

1T or 2T is the command rate. 1T is better performance but wont run 3 sticks. so you need 2T.

On my DFI its CPC to disabled...but I dunno apart from that

Thats pretty crap mate...maybe stick with the 1024 and sell the other stick?

I downloaded a64 tweaker, supposedly I can set it with that. Ill get back if it works in a few minutes

cpc enabled = 1T

cpc disabled = 2T

hopefully you can set it with your board though.

After bit of extensive research, I found out that I cant ch ange the command rate with my processor. Clawhammer core does not support it, so now i have an extra stick of memory just lying around...migh tjust RMA it.
