Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos Richest Man Alive

A bit of an odd thread here, but just came across this that Amazon's founder, Jeff Bezos', became the richest man in the world during the year shift.

He surpassed Microsoft's founder, Bill Gates, who had the title for quite some time, before loosing it.

Jeff Bezos' worth is now $105 billion US dollars and according to Oxfam, an international network of organizations working to alleviate poverty, Bezos could become the world's first trillionaire in the next 25 years.

I mean, 1 million is an insane amount of money. 1 billion even more so and he has over 105! That's an insane amount of money... The only one I think of from OC3D, when reading this, in relation to us "normal" deathlings, is Kaapstad and all of his GPUs etc :lol:

He is technically the richest. But he still doesn't hold the record for net worth. Bill Gates holds that title from the 99 .com boom. He briefly held a value of around $131 billion or so dollars if you take into account inflation.

Also take into account Bill Gates has given over $30 billion in money over his life. He's actually doing good with his foundation unlike Jeff.

Still they are insanely wealthy.

Yeah yeah absolutely, I'm not saying anything bad regarding Bill Gates etc. I know he has donated a large portion of his fortune, which is just a huge kudos and respect to him. Which is more than could be said for other insaly wealthy people.

I've never heard of 99 .com though?...
