I managed to get a 5700X3D about a month after it was released on AliExpress for 150 euros. It's over 300 euros now.

I upgraded a friend to a 5700X3D earlier this year. He had a tight budget, so keeping his DDR4 memory was a must. Cheap AM4 motherboard + 5700X3D was a huge upgrade. Add on his RTX 5070 and he is set for a long while.
