Alphacool's New Range Of GPU Blocks For Nvidia 7950 GTX and 8800 series Cards

Don't 'That companty that shall not be named' do flowmeaters?

And i sware ive seen an alphacool one too...

If not ignore me...

Some here

I was thinking of getting perhaps a spare pump and hooking it up to a "reservoir" (read: bucket) and testing the GPU block for flow that way (through pipes of course)

The sensor one looks good if only I knew whether it's plug and play or not...

Well I'd assume it would give consistant readings, even if they are not accurate. This would mean I could show a difference in the impingement when the block was in place the not in place.

But hows it work? I need a T balancer?

Looks like you put regualr barbs in the two holes in the front too me.

I doubt these are accurate. I was thinking along the lines of something more professional, but.. as long as they show an accurate difference.

What about like two 5 gallon buckets and see how long it takes to pump from one to the other, that should do it right?

Was talking about how I get the reading

@ Nick - can't see anything more accurate...and I expect anything like that would cost a fortune

Kempez, I'm liking that simple idea :).

That and a stopwatch.

These certainly look very interesting. According to Chris @ Alphacool these aren't restrictive...so we'll see when I have on in the labs :)

OK, I am smack in the middle of a G80 waterblock review. Who do I talk to about getting a set of these blocks to include in the review? Will they be @ CES next week? I will be there.

I'll have a word with Alphacool about it mate. If you hit me or XMS up on MSN then we can discuss you getting something done on the homepage for ur block roundup?
