Alphacool Monsta 240 or 2 x 240 slims

Hi everyone,

A quick question if I may, I am planning to water cool my Cosmos 2. - my first try at water cooling except for a H100 which does not count !!!

Regarding the location for the 240 rads in the bottom of the case I see from TTL video (thanks Tom it is your video that finally convinced me to buy the Cosmos which is an epic case) that 2 240 rads can fit, now do I go for 2 rads or a Monsta 240 instead, and what would be the pro and cons of either.

Just to Note I plan to put a 360 in the roof as well - basically follow Tom's video as a guide!!!!

How thick are each 240mm rads?

From the review it appears like two 60mm rads will fit but not two of the monsta rads. I'd personally go with the UT45 down there just to be on the safe side regarding fan, cable and fitting room and shove as thick a rad as possible in the roof.

Tbh if the slim radiators you were going to use are 30mm thick and it is a choice between the two of them or a single monsta, the monsta wins hands down.

OK how does two 60 mm rads compare with a monsta?

Two 60mm rads would have a greater cooling potential than a single monsta rad assuming both are the same width

You can get 2x 60's down there with a set of fans each. Id do that.

Alphacool UT60 240mm or the XSPC RX240 and pair either of these up with a bank of Corsair SP120s
