Alpenföhn peter on a gtx460

Hey guys

My 460 seems to be a bit to loud for my likings so I was thinking of getting a new cooler for it.

Problem is my card is gigabyte gtx460 oc2 1gb and I don't know if 1:it fits and 2: its not a complete overkill.

Any help ? and if there is a better air cooler out there for the 460 please tell me, price doesn't really matter.

Yes it will fit. And if price is no object then you could get it...

also: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-002-GD&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=787 will fit, and will do as good a job of cooling the card.

Alternatively, if price really is no object, why not sell the 460 and upgrade to a card like: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-087-GI&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1341 with a better cooler.

Infact, looking at prices, I think it would be cheaper to upgrade to a GTX 560 with the fans already on if you sold your 460, than it would be to buy the Peter...?
