Alleged RX 480 benchmark scores appear online

My R9 390 just open and run on 3dmark scores 11,146, stock gpu clocks and 5820k clocked at 3.8Ghz, so it doesn't seem like a huge step up, but at 100 watts less TDP the improvement in both case, and gpu temps should be pretty noticeable.

what was your graphics score ?

It's over, Nvidia are finished and bankrupt!

Oops, sorry, thought I was on /g/ for a moment there.

That's amazing performance for a $200 card, and knowing how well AMD cards scale in crossfire, a pair of cards for $400 is absolutely going to kick the GTX1080s arse for half the price.

Could AMD be back in the GPU race? And if their new GPUs are this good, what about their Zen CPUs?

I'm getting excited at the prospect of a competitive AMD build!

I disagree. 780ti is basically 970 performance(little slower actually). I'd expect no less than a Fury Nano at worst, more or less equal to a 980, and at best between a FX and a 980ti. Don't really see the Fury line being relevant anymore.

780ti is slightly faster than a 970 (stock vs stock) or atleast it was, with how nvidia work drivers i wouldnt be suprized if the 970 is now faster than a 780ti just because of drivers.

It will be interesting to see how it goes. I do expect AMD to say some more on the RX480 at the PC gaming e3 conference.
