Hey, now I know this thread probably won't get that many replies but hey here goes anyway.

I have an Intel socket 775 motherboard laying around. Its an XFX nForce 790i SLI. Now the question is what should I do with it?

I also have another socket 775 motherboard on its way. The Gigabyte EP45-UD3P. I know from research and speaking to other overclockers that this is supposed to be one of the best 775 overclockers around.

Should I build these up into full complete systems and have them looking pretty and sometimes getting used or just flog these parts and concentrate on my own main build?

The Gigabyte EP45-UD3P is an epic Q95XX overclocker. We 're talking 500+ fsb if it's the right rev.

So we don't you look around for a cheap decent q9550 e0 ? :D

@S_I_N and ccaution: That is one idea that I did have, but then again I could sell them as I have a friend (who knows nothing about computers) who is giving me a Gigabyte X58A-OC board (couldn't be happier about it). So I am now looking at just selling them and going 1366 as my back up, while I build my main. I can get an i7 920 for about £70 (if they are worth it?) and just bumping that up to 4.0Ghz and leaving it there as my back-up.
