All proceeds from Hellblade sales tomorrow will go to the UK charity Rethink

Very kind act especially from a studio that in comparison to many other big companies is not that large. Kudos to them for this.

This is really good to see, Rethink in my area had to close down all of their services and lost all of their staff due to losing funding from the local council because of cuts to spending on mental health by the government.

I also work for a mental health charity that lost all of its funding and several member of staff. Luckily we are still hanging in there and still have a range of services to offer.

Things like this are a big deal for charities and help out a lot. Although if you are going to donate money to a charity it is best to donate it to your local branch of that charity rather than to the national branch. Local branches need the money the most and don't get much money if any at all from the national branches.

Either way it still helps and funding from donations is vital for the survival of charities

Happy world mental health day.

Very nice move by them!

If I didn't have it already, this would be the time to buy the game, as I can highly recommend it!

If you:

  • have a gamepad
  • a decent headset
  • are open for single player games
THEN GO GET IT!!

Yup pretty disgusting. They've made loads of cuts down here too and I've suffered badly from it.
