Air tight seal

After having read all the threads to do with condensation forming within the hermatic cell I wanted to try and draw some sort of pattern to these problems. Those people who have had such problems, did they squeeze small amounts of seal string around the feet of the small ICs and components which lay directly underneath the CPU bracket before mounting the bracket with the recomended two rounds of seal string?

i used the belt and braces option 2 rounds of seal string and some over any component that got in the way plus dc4 in the cpu socket.

u cant be too careful i mean we aint all got rolls of wedge to keep throwing at it (have we thickie)

I only ever use 1 round of seal string. I've very rarely had condensation - with my fx cpukit, I've had to fudge it myself, and I've been extra careful with the seal string, because there are IC's etc in the way, plus my cpukit has more holes than a swiss cheese. So we will see what happens.

When I had my 64 in my machine I used 2 rounds of seal string and when I pulled the machine to bits 1 month after install I had small amounts of condensation it didn't do any damage thank god but I dont want any condensation when I get my fx I do have some dc-4 but doesn't this get very hot on hot components???
