AFirst peak at the new XSPC EX Radiator

XSPC Paul said on Specialtech that theses rads are supposed to have XSPC RX performance from a RS sized rad. I'd like to see a comparison between the RX and EX because if that's true it will please a lot of people with cases that can only fit a slim rad.

EDIT: It wasn't XSPC PAul who said that ^^^^^ it was someone qouting the information about the EX series from the XSPC website.

Specialtech has them available for pre-order now as well.

Very tempted, i'll need a slim rad for my 600t i believe so this might fit the bill nicely.

Yeah i'm excited about these rads to be honest.

They'll be a nice upgrade from the RS I have and since I can't re-use my PA120.2 in my Corsair 650D this EX series will be awesome if it has the same performance as the RX ones. Here's to hoping.

Ever so slightly more tempted to watercool my PC now, should be able to fit it into the Phantom without problems ...

daniSAUR, I got an email that the EX240 shipped to me, I don't have the equipment or experience to review it and just went on faith based on other XSPC product reviews and their reputation. Since I'll be putting it in a 650D, I'll try to post anything that might be helpful.

Awesome mate, well we have the same case so that's a good start.

Hope you get great temps (although you've got the Phobya 200mm rad in there as well to help). Are you keeping your case on the floor? Or will it be on the desk? Previous builds have been on the floor for me and I haven't been able to retain that good of temps, but I've moved my 650d to the desk now hoping it'll be able to move some air nicely about.

Tell us how the rad fits up-top! Should be more than fine. Looking forward to the build log mate.

It sits on a cart an inch or two above desk level. (I gotta window, I wanna see in!) Oddly enough it's a kitchen/wine serving cart I got for last Christmas and never got around to putting together because it's heavy as hell, has a granite top, and I don't need to wheel plates and wine around. When I began thinking on the 650D, I realized it would work, and adds some storage below. So a black wooden lower with grey granite top, hmm, perfect! (I did leave off the wine glass rack and wine bottle thingy.)

Got the pump, Raystorm, compression fittings, and tubing today. The rest comes Wednesday and Thursday. I had to use 3 vendors to find what I wanted in stock and at a decent price. Maybe by Monday I'll have the new stuff in it and running.

Nice one.

well I think as long as its elevated you're fine.

Cool, I really want to get some compression fittings.. The barbs are alright but the compressions are just a lot tidier.
