Aerocool CoolTouch-E Q?

So, I'm thinking of picking this up as an easy to use fan controller

http://www.aerocool.us/peripheral/CoolTouch-E%20B.htm

It comes with 4 fan connectors, each with a 4pin and 3pin molex connectors attached for each. It can run 20W per channel (80W total). I've got 2, 4pin molex y-connectors coming for my intake (side) and exhaust (top), which I'd like to run off one channel each (wattage will come in well below the 20W referenced), so I think I'm okay there. - ?.?...

Just wondering, would it be possible to run a 3 pin and a 4 pin fan through the 'stock' connector to use on the same channel?? So I'd still have a channel left over for my other/main fan.

It'd look something like:

Main intake 1x120mm(4pin) - on channel 1 - 4pin connection
Bottom + HDD fan (4pin+3pin) - on channel 2 - using both of the connectors for channel 2
Side 2x140mm (4pins + Y-connector) - on channel 3
Top Exhaust 2x140mm (4pins + Y-connector) - on channel 4

Rear exhaust would than be the only one, connected directly to the MOBO.

Good Idea/Bad Idea?? Channel 2 even possible, or should I get another Y-connector? Thanks in advance.

Apparently I'll be the one to find out, will post back results :P Fingers crossed by the end of next week.

Success. Can run a 3pin and 4pin off of the channel provided. Just a little more cable management and she's perfect.
