Right soi was speaking to someone in a local computer store too see about parts and discussing the development of my latest build and i said i was going for the sabertooth x58 as it;s constantly recommended as best for price however he argues that gigabyte are better than asus as they are gold based rather than solder and that it would be more reliable. EG go for the ud-3 instead, I was just wondering how much of a difference the material would make i;m aware it makes a big difference in terms of data transfer quality for usb's and more so audio jacks. However reading up on reviews the sabertooth often seems to win out in data transfers and overclock ability. Reliability wise he played the "reviews are sponsored" card and you can trust no one!!! lol which is why i took to the forums as users aren't sponsored(sadly) and heard horror stories of the ud-3 catching fire around about 1.4V and having many compatibility issues with SSD's and memory. so question is really out of the following what should i go for
asus sabertooth(preferred one but don;t want to seem arrogant and just ignore someone who;s job it is to know these things)
gigabyte ud-3(recommended however it seems to be trounced by the sabertooth)
EVGA sli 3(one i looked into after being told the sabertooth wasn't one to go for and seeing the ud-3 kinda suck lol i rather like the vdroop feature)
