Thermochill 360 radiator- 3 x Antec BLUE LED Tricool 3 speed settings1200/1600/2000 rpm

6xcompresion fittings3/8"ID 1/2"OD + 2 metres of Primochill PrimoFlex Pro LRT Clear 3/8"ID 1/2"OD

now how much coolant do i need for the res 1 ltror 2 ltr also are these componants ok to cool a gtx 580 hydro copper 2 + amd 970 cpu@ 4.2 instead od standard 3.5 thx peeps.

How thick is the 360mm rad? A thick rad would be best for you're setup.

Hi mate heres the specs of the rad

Dimensions: 129 x 405 x 60mm

• Plenumb: 10mm

• Fan Spacing: 15mm

• Fitting Thread: 3/8" BSPP or G3/8

• Construction: Brass Tanks & Tubes, Cu Fins

• Finish: Matt black

• Weight: 1.4Kg

• Compatibility: FG120.2 (15mm), NG120.2 (15mm)

• Optimised for fans upto 130cfm

Get 2 liters just to be safe it's better to have too much than not enough.

What you have should be enough to keep a 580 and a 970 cool. The Shadow H20 build Tom did had a 6990 @ 950mhz and a 990X @ 4.5ghz and that was cooled with one 60mm thick 360mm rad and if I remember correctly the average load temps for the CPU and GPU were around 50c.

You have a much stronger pump as well so that should help get slight lower temps not sure by how much though.

peepz forgot to ask wats this push n pull with the fans should i do it with my set up and how does it work/is it worth doing with the rad i got? thx

It works by having one set of fans blowing the cool air through the RAD and one set sucking the hot air from the top Creating a push and pull.

From what I have read on it though there is only around 3-5c temp difference from having one set of fans in push or pull and two sets in push and pull, also don't forget the more fans you have the more noise it will add.

If you want to go for more performance and lower temps over silence then go for two sets of fans in push and pull but if you want to go silence the stick with one set on push or pull.

I have also read that pull is more effective that push but only by a few *c, you will be able to have the fans on lower with a 60mm RAD as well so with one set in pull your temps should be fine.

ok my ThermoChill PA120.3 - 360 Radiator is outa stock(they only just told me (bellends) so im wondering whats the next best rad for my setup pls rs/rx would a rs 360 be man enough to cool both card/cpu? cheers

the rs is only 30mm thick so wouldnt be as good as the thermochill the rx is like 58.5 so 1.5mm thinner whether that would make a difference or not i doubt it would. so the rx would do but you could just get any 120.3 60mm radiator and they would all be similiar

update.got the gtx 360 rad.now as you know i have the antec 1200 and at the front it has 3 antec tricool 120mm led fans.would i just put them on the rad then buy 3 more for th

e back for push n pull?thx (im guessing ill need 30mm m4 screws for a 25mm thick tri cool fan?too) your help

your help is highly appreciated....BOOM-HE4DSHOT

Doesn't really matter there is only a couple of *c in it anyway.

But the normal way ( I say normal but mean most common) to do it would be

RAD>CPU>GPU>Pump>RES>RAD

All seems ok mate,

Make sure that the nickel is EN type.

3/8 tube is a bit on the small side, I would go for 7/16, not that it's going to make a difference temp wise, is just i like the look of 1/2 barb with no clamp.

Coolant wise you will use less than 1L, it's always handy to have some incase you have to drain.

nice one andrew, not sure how to find out the en type on the nickle plexi.probably gonna end up with just 3 fans on push.the cooant i chose was the thermochill ec6 non conductive uv blue.got 2litres just in case:) will post pics sat.only went for the 3/8 tubing as my compression fittings are of this size:)
