You can turn that warning/error off in your bios so it doesn't show up. My NH-D14 plugged into cpu fan header gave me that warning as well and I know it is working properly. Strange bios warning, just disable.
the thing is I am on water cool . I was wondering if that was anything to do with it I did a 4.5 overclock and never got above 66c and then this shows up and it makes it hard to access bios . thanks for input

as I am on water cooler could this by any chance be thermal paste problem I used what was installed on the corsair cooler h110igt
Nope, it shouldn't at all. I've always used the thermal paste that is already pre-applied to their coolers. And while it's not the best, it ain't the worst either. Pretty high quality indeed.
It could be but I doubt it. I would take a look around your motherboard and write down whatever fans you have plugged in to each output on the board. I would then go into bios and set those fans to full speed (in case your pump is connected to one) then disable fan warning once you are happy everything is working OK (I mean all fans spinning and so on).
Disabling the warning will not disable the fans dude. It just stops the nagging.
out of the water cooler two fans. on the mobo is a dedicated water header but the corsair comes with a sata plug, so I took this direct to the psu but the cooler also has a usb senser can you think of anyting there
