Advice on upgrading MB, RAM & CPU

Hello gentlemen,

I need some advice on the above. First I will list my current system specs and then explain which components I wish to upgrade.

Current system:

OS: Windows 7 Ult 64 Bit
CPU: i7 920 @ 2.5Ghz
GPU: GeForce GTX 680 2GB
RAM: 6GB DDR3
PSU: 1000W

These are the bits I have found so far. I need opinions on these.

Processor: i7 4770K

If you have any better ideas or the processor for example I have a choice between i7 3770k or 4770k. Ram - dont't really need more than 16GB as I'll mainly be playing Battlefield 4.

That 4770k is not going to fit in a z77 board. The 4770 is socket 1150 where the z77 chipset uses socket socket 1155. Get a z87 Sabertooth and you're good to go.

For the same price you could also get an MSI GD-65 Gaming though, which has a better audio and ethernet solution. It also overclocks really well. There's a review on the homepage if you're interested.

Other than that, it looks good. You could easily get away with 8GB RAM though
