Hi there !

Saw OC3D's videos on youtube, and they are the best reviews on the Internet, 10/10 !

I would like to know what you think of my next build, thanks in advance !

Antec Performance One P183

ASUS P8P67 EVO

Intel Core i5 2500K

Noctua NH-D14

G.Skill ECO Series 8 Go (4x 2 Go) DDR3-SDRAM PC3-12800 - F3-12800CL7Q-8GBECO

Samsung SpinPoint F4 EcoGreen - HD204UI - 2 To x2

Gainward GeForce GTX 570 Golden Sample Goes Like Hell

Antec CP-850

Crucial RealSSD C300 - SSD 64 Go (only for the OS, games go to the F4)

And maybe a dual dock for my 2x 1tb F3's, for backup...

Already bought an Acer S273 27" display (love it)

Please note:

- im not a hardcore gamer, but I like to play some nice games, and I dont want to change my rig for a long time (but maybe adding stuff in it)...

- maybe I'll consider another 570 when the power gets short,

- I chose 8gb of ram to be in peace with the memory for a long time, In France, the 2x4gb ECO series kit is priced at 210€ which is an absolute scam, so I go with 4x2... im very interested in the ECO series, but there are the RipjawsX which seem nice too, im not sure !

- I'll be overclocking, not like mad tho, but I guess I'll be running my CPU at at least 4.5 24/24 if its alright

- I have a Creative X Fi Titanium pci-e soundcard

- And yea im french

Mushkin RAM.

F3 performs better than F4, I believe the F4's are energy efficient as opposed to performance based.

Corsair PSU HX850 or AX850.

Everything else looks gold to me.

I can't seem to find any mushkin ram in France... and the ECo series with 1.35v are just too good to miss imo

I don't really care about the performance on the F4, they have better reliability and noise afaik, and the difference with the F3 should be negligible shouldnt they ?

About the psu, I saw some very good reviews about the CP 850 (which is 80plus, but tests revealed that it performs at bronze and sometimes silver levels), the corsair is like 40€+ more... And CP 850 is made for my case ^^ (ok worthless argument)

PSU is fine so long as you don't think you could be stressing it in the future, if you even think there's a slight chance you could end up stressing it regularly then you want a decent brand like Corsair.

As for the hard drive, prices here show the F3 is cheaper? Or did you mean that for the price increase and performance decrease the quieter F4 is better for you?

Hmm I think for storage drives, I'd go for better reliability, the F4 uses less mechanics, so it should be better.

Some people advised me to get the Caviar Black with Sata 3... but well.. 2x more expensive (regarding $/gb)

Well unless somebody else thinks otherwise you may have your next build, only thing people may be unsure about is the case, in my opinion it's Antec, it's not the skeleton, it's fine
