So ill post some pics and any help welcome

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, nice little cooler

, i was thinking of changin it on silverarrow but not sure if it will fit in my case, and if i decide to change it means takin out mobo, quite a lot to do

You said it little for lower temps you are going to need something big or water. Depends if you want lower temps, noise and higher clocks.

I use to run in on 3.2GHz but I got gup upgrade in plans, and I don't want my cpu bottlenecking gpu`s like 570, that's why I decided to push it alitle bit more, same goes for memory, atm my 260ssc runs pretty much everything what I play on medium/high, but we got crysis 2 commin out, Bulletstorm, witcher 2, and diablo 3 and if my 260 will struggle ill need new card :,

Ill leave it on 3.55GHz wont try to push it any further, if temps are safe cooler will stay as well, better to save penny's for new rig sometimes in 2012

Hm.. I'm guessing that them settings are all right, good, but if somebody want to add something feel free to do so.

i wouldnt go any higher with the voltage for a 24/7 oc with that cooler but a cooler is something you can buy today and use on your next system

with a 1.175vid i bet the cpu would go very high if you was to push it

vid is the voltage intel specs each cpu at, now the vid for your cpu is the bottom voltage in the 2nd pic you posted in the op and labled normal cpu voltage.

fyi my q9550 has a vid of 1.2875 and when i can keep it cold enough it will hit 4.6ghz

looking at the bios settings now i would imagine you could drop your vcore if you added +1 to the fsb and pcie with load line calibration on. idk if you have tried to push it any higher but i think you might be around the point where the mch needs more voltage but my p35 board wouldnt go past 424 fsb with a 45nm quad so it looks like you have a nice mobo there too

Hm.. anything less than 1.3volts, and i got blue screen after 3 mins of Prime

just dont quite get it why i need 1.3V to get is stable on 3.5GHz, use to run it stable 24/7 on them seetings and much lover volts

tbh i think you have done real well, as i said my p35 wouldnt go past 424 with a 45nm quad even tho it would do 500+ with a duo and its the same for most p35, p45 boards are more common with the 45nm quads and thats why there are so many more things about them online.

other than lowering the voltage the only way to reduce the temps would be to improve cooling, now lapping is about the best bang per buck but its not for the faint of heart. better tim will help maybe a couple of c or a bigger cooler might knock 10c off but thats about all i can think of.

i would still be proud of that oc on a p35 mate

Thanks, i might change cooler onto silverarrow but it depends if it fit my case and i have cpu power socket in a weird place which might colide with biger coolers

i have the ifx 14 and i just need to plug the 8 pin powr in before i mount the cooler and it runs under it without issue.

if you could tie those cables out the way it might help airflow to the cpu a little.

Got new case, and I changed silverarrow direction, temps went slightly up I think coz of fans sucking warm air from gpu, and this time instead spreading thermal paste evenly on cpu I did squized a bit on the middle.
